David Edward Tretter, 76 of Indianapolis passed away Monday, January 25, 2010 at Clarian Health Hospice. He was born May 2, 1933 in Petersburg, IN to Antonetta and Jacob Tretter who have preceded him in death. David worked 45 years for Ameritech. He retired in 1998. He married Dora Hazelton in 1957. He was preceded in death by his son, David Keith Tretter; brothers, LeeRoy, Frank, and Don and his sister Margret. Survivors include his wife, Dora; daughters, Mary (John) Ramsey, Brenda (Jeff) Finley, Barbara Gale, Carol Tretter, Jana Tretter; grandchildren, Marsha Wheatcraft, John David Ramsey, Kara & Andrew Finley; sister, Imogene Perry. He also leaves behind many close friends. Services for David are 1pm Thursday, January 28 at the Usher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
