Martha L. Appleby, 83 of Indianapolis passed away May 15, 2009. Martha had worked as a Machine Operator for White Metal Container Company. She was preceded in death by her grandson, James (Fred) Chambers and 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ann Morris, Marian Diane Hubbard, Anna (Ball) Armbrust (George), Connie A. Helms; sister, Nora Glass; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services are 1pm Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Usher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8pm on Monday and from 2-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
