Linda Sue Tex, 58 of Brownsburg passed away July 14, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Helen Bullock. Linda was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. She loved spending time with her granddaughter Sophia sun bathing, shopping, and watching horror movies with her diet coke and Marlboros. She was best known by others for her spiked hair, big earrings and "Hooptie Van". To her family she was a therapist, room mother, coach, crossing guard and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Vincent "Porky" Tex; daughters, Carrie Tex, Melissa Mathias; granddaughter, Sophia Mathias; nieces, Erica Reed, Trisha Rowe; cousin, Shelly Olivas; dear friend, Rhonda Sanchez and her crazy dog Gizmo. A memorial mass for Linda will be held at 10am Monday, July 20 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4-8pm Sunday at the Usher Funeral Home. Online condolences at usherfuneralhome.com
